In 2019 the Florida Legislature passed House Bill 843 which modified Florida Statute 395.1012.
The law requires the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) to create a "form" with data on the rate of Hospital Acquired Infections that must be provided (by each hospital) to patients or a patient's representative.
