Advocacy Alert - 2026 Legislative Session - SB 1756

The Florida Senate Health Policy Committee recently adopted a committee substitute for the SB 1756 (Medical Freedom) and now more than ever it is important for members of our society to remind the Legislature of the important work our profession is doing to promote scientifically based infection control and epidemiological principles and practices through public policy advocacy.

FPIC staff and members of our Public Policy Committee have been in contact with members of the House and Senate to again share our position on this bill (click here) and we are asking all members of our profession to consider joining us and to contact your local Representative and Senator to share this information with them.
